Some Good News

So, I’m still waiting to hear back from the vet about the tick panel. I do have some good news about me however. I haven’t posted anything about service dog training lately – because starting in January I began a fitness bootcamp. It’s 1 hour 3 days a week. Since we’ve been doing it, I have experienced maybe 2% of my previous fibromyalgia symptoms. I’ve also been eating better, which always helps. I haven’t lost any weight but I can finally run for a short time, I can do a lot of push ups, sit ups, and tons more. It’s been amazing.

While there are some days I’m still sore, it’s mostly because of working out. I have had only a few times where I experienced the stabbing pain from fibro, and it was always when I hadn’t worked out for a while. The second best part is now I think when we start doing Agility with Reed (assuming the vet doesn’t veto it) I’ll be able to run around and do it 🙂

Next month, I’m enrolling in the 4 times a week class.
